STAFF TEACHING MOBILITY

Programme Scope:

Staff teaching mobility is an activity area that enables a staff member responsible for teaching at a higher education institution holding an ECHE in Turkey to teach students at a higher education institution in a Partner Country with which an inter-institutional agreement has been signed. It also allows a staff member responsible for teaching at a higher education institution in a Partner Country to teach students at a higher education institution in Turkey holding an ECHE within the scope of the inter-institutional agreement. This mobility also includes the opportunity to carry out joint academic/educational activities with the host institution in relation to the teaching assignment.

What is Staff Mobility (Teaching)?

Staff can carry out a teaching activity at a partner higher education institution abroad. This teaching mobility allows academic staff from higher education institutions or personnel from enterprises to deliver teaching sessions at a higher education institution abroad.

Staff may participate in both teaching and training mobility activities.

  • Each year, projects are prepared by academic staff in departments in the form of applications and shared with the Erasmus Office.
  • The Erasmus Office compiles the departmental project requests into a single project and completes the drafting process for the relevant departments.
  • The Erasmus Office submits the application to the National Agency on behalf of the institution.
  • The application is subject to a quality assessment and evaluation process. As a result of this process, mobility can be carried out with countries that receive a score of 60 or above.
  • For projects that are awarded a grant, student and staff mobility can be conducted from the relevant departments.
  • The project includes both incoming and outgoing staff and student mobility.
